Demonstrations

We offer shearing demonstrations for fairs, schools, ranch open houses and similar. Our shearing demonstrations cover a wide range of lore and information.  We talk about sheep breeds, wool fiber, wool classing, how we train to become a shearer, shearing methods, shearing equipment and much much more.

You must provide the sheep and prepare just as you would for any other shearing day.  For a demonstration we ask that you provide sheep that are clean and that will be easy shearers.  In other words, please do not expect us to shear rams, yearlings, babydolls  or overweight sheep for your demonstration.  If you have any questions about which of your sheep are appropriate for shearing demonstrations, please ask.
