We Love Sheep was founded in 2016 by Jordan Reed with help from K.Ruby Blume on branding and website creation. We specialize in shearing small to medium flocks of 1-100 animals and in educating our customers about best practices for handling and caring for their sheep and other fiber animals.
We really do love sheep! Our shearers have maintained their own flocks of 30-50 head and have many years experience on the ground with flock management, health and nutrition. We have a wealth of knowledge of fiber and fiber quality, wool, pelts, lambs, lambing, pasture remediation, small scale meat production, common ailments and remedies. We bring this knowledge and expertise with us when we come to your small farm or homestead.
Our shearers are based in Southern Oregon. Our season typically runs March through June, weather allowing. Our mobile shearing service covers Central California to Southern Washington and parts of Oregon. We schedule geographically and typically need 1-2 full days work to come to an area or we ask a driving charge or day rate.
